Domain Buyers Protection FAQ

The answer is NO.

No1.io website is an online store for domain names that we owned, specialized only for carefully selected premium domains.

In contrast, a domain marketplace is an online platform that provides services for multiple buyers and owners of domain names with varied Top-Level-Domain extensions, and they facilitates the buying and  selling of domain names within their platform for a fee.

We have a very large portfolio of domain names in various top-level-domain extensions such as, .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .vc, .guide, .asia, .club, .io domains and so on.

If we display all of these domains in one online store, our Buyers will experience a difficult journey in selecting the best name that fits their need.

For Buyers benefit, we decided to break-down our domain portfolio into different online stores, duly categorized based on the domains’ respective niches and strength.

No, you don’t have to pay a single cent in using our website to buy a domain name. You will only pay for the price of the domain that you will purchase.

When you buy a domain at No1.io you become the new rightful owner of the domain.

With that, you have the full control and exclusive ownership of this digital asset (domain).

You can manage the domain at any registrar of your choice and develop it to achieve its full potential.

Escrow.com is a financial institution that has the ability to accept payment by Wire Transfer, PayPal, Check, Money Order, or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).

No, the selling price of our domains is clearly declared in each domain sales page. What you see as the domain’s selling price is what you pay. In most cases we shoulder the Escrow transaction fees. Though there are times, especially in negotiated selling price that the buyer agrees to pay the Escrow fee as part of the agreed transaction.

It simply means that a domain is listed in domain marketplace either in public auction or in a negotiated price.

If you see a domain tagged with “Make Offer” or “Place Your Bid” in our website, simply click on the button to submit your best buy offer or bid price in the marketplace where it is listed.

Yes, you can.

We provided a way for you to negotiate and submit your best offer thru our Submit Offer
form. Just click the “Submit Your Best Offer” text link below the “Buy It Now” button, then fill-up the required information and submit.

Important Reminder:

Submit Offer form contains a Minimum Offer Price threshold that must be met for a Buyer to initiate a negotiated price. If you type-in an amount below this threshold, the submit offer form will not proceed.

Further, by submitting an offer is not a guarantee that you get the exclusive right to buy the domain. When somebody hits the “Buy It Now” button and directly initiates the Escrow payment while you are still in the process of negotiating to buy the domain at a lower price, the domain will be gone and goes to the one who pays the tag price.

Simple!

You can verify the domain ownership in any domain “whois” services, one of which is GoDaddy.com. This is the link: https://godaddy.com/whois

Each domain undergoes a very detailed and tedious valuation process. Every valuation checkpoints are considered including the domain type and business potential coupled with several domain statistics such as the present price comparison with the market value, related domain sales history, potential CPC ad spend or savings, search volume and search results in search engine particularly Google, and a lot more.

We therefore guarantee that our domains are fairly priced based on our valuation process.

No, all prices of our domains does not include VAT. Whenever VAT is legally applicable you’ll see it either on the domain sales page you’ve landed on or at checkout.

No, but please don’t take our words on this one. Do your own due diligence and much better if you check it yourself in websites that offer trademark and copyright issues to make sure that the domain you want does not violate a trademark or copyright.

You can verify it here

Just enter the domain name in the search box and click the “Search” button, and it will give you the trademark or copyright data being filed using the domain.

When a domain is listed in a marketplace, it is bound to abide by its rules of ethics and terms of use. Yes, you can contact us and we will give you advice and directions on how to possibly buy the domain in the marketplace where it is listed.

All domain payment transactions must be completed within 48 hours from the time you initiated the buying process either in Escrow.com or in the domain marketplace. The sooner you complete the payment – the earlier the domain transfer to your  referred registrar will follow.

Once your payment is confirmed by the marketplace or Escrow.com, they will inform us to proceed with the domain transfer process. Escrow.com or the domain marketplace will monitor the success of this domain transaction until it is completed.

We will provide you the domain transfer authority code or “domain auth code” which you will use in transferring the domain to your preferred registrar.

After you initiated the domain transfer, our domain registrars will send us emails to approved and/or accept the domain transfer. Once it is done, you now get the full control and exclusive ownership of the domain you bought.

Reminder:
To close the transaction, please do not forget to confirm with the marketplace or Escrow.com that you already received the domain you bought and the domain transfer to your account is completed.

An Auth-Code (also called an Authorization Code, Auth-Info Code, or transfer code) is a code created by a registrar to help identify the domain name holder (also known as a registrant or registered name holder) of a domain name in a generic top-level domain (gTLD) operated under contract with ICANN.

An Auth-Code is required for a domain holder to transfer a domain name from one registrar to another.

You may read the full details of domain auth code meaning in the official ICANN website.

Yes, you need that domain transfer authority code to initiate the domain transfer to your
domain registrar.

To initiate a domain transfer is not difficult. However, each registrar/ hosting provider has a different process. Hence, we’ve created this blog post with clear instructions on how to transfer a domain using your domain transfer authorization code. Please read the article here in this page. How To Transfer Domain Using Auth Code or Authorization Code

Reminder:
To close the transaction, please do not forget to confirm with the marketplace or Escrow.com that you already received the domain you bought and the domain transfer to your account is completed.

Yes, of course.

We actually prefer doing a “push” since it’s the faster way for buyers to take control of his/her newly acquired domain.

However, you need to have an account in the registrar where the domain you bought is
registered.

Let us know if you want a domain “push” instead of transferring the domain on your own thru the domain authority code.

The most possible reason is – the domain you bought may still carries our DNS.

To fix it, please login to the registrar where you’re managing the domain and delete our nameservers ( DNS1 and DNS2 ) from the DNS settings and replace it with the DNS provided by your own hosting provider. By doing this, your own website will now be displayed on the net.

We are more than happy to connect with you even after the domain buy and transfer is completed.
